PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
Ed graduated from Michigan State University in 1989 and earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1994. After four years as a public defender in Michigan, he returned to Illinois and became licensed to practice here in 1999. He concentrates his practice in the defense of tort claims and has experience in automobile, premises, construction and civil rights claims. He served as a special Assistant State’s Attorney in representing the County of Will in a number of claims including excessive use of force and other civil rights violations. He has tried over 15 criminal and civil cases to verdict and has defended numerous arbitration claims. In addition, Ed acts as an arbitrator/panel chair with the Circuit Court of Will County’s Mandatory Arbitration Program.
